Car riders: Arrive between 8:45-9:00 am and enter door #2 (please pull all the way up to the stop sign and then drop your child there to keep students safe and to keep the flow of cars moving)
-
Walkers/Bike Riders: Arrive between 8:45-9:00 am (see below for both arrival and dismissal door assignments)
-
KDG Students: Always use door #9 in the courtyard off Victoria Ave. (both arrival and dismissal for KDG walkers/bikers)
-

-
-
Students who are tardy at the 9 am bell and beyond must report to the office (door #1) for a tardy pass
Dismissal - Walkers/Bike Riders:
-
KDG Students: Always use door #9 in the courtyard off Victoria Ave. (both arrival and dismissal for KDG walkers/bikers)
-
Grades 1-5: Use either door #9 (courtyard, off Victoria Ave.) or door #11 for dismissal (door #11 will only be used in the afternoon this year)
Dismissal - Car Riders:
-
Please always notify your child’s teacher of any dismissal changes in advance. If you have a change in dismissal routine after the school day has begun, please call the office by 2:00 pm to help us plan for a safe and efficient dismissal.
-
Car riders will wait in the gym until called out to their car from door #3. Please use the car name tag (provided at the Open House) for our car identification process each day. For safety reasons, we will only load students on the passenger side of the vehicle only. If you will be exiting your car to buckle your child, please pull off to the side lot near door #3 to safely buckle your child.
-
Thank you for helping us provide a safe driver line for drop-off and pick-up areas! Please pull all the way up to the stop sign (or the car just in front of you) when dropping off or picking up your child. Stopping right by the doors or before you reach the stop sign causes other cars to try to go around you, potentially causing unsafe situations for our students.
Breakfast and Lunch: Breakfast is available at 8:30 am each morning (use door #8). Menus for breakfast and lunch can be found on the Lakewood City Schools Nutrition Services website. All families should complete the Free and Reduced Lunch application found at the same site listed above for Nutrition Services.
Medications: If your child needs medication administered during the school day, a parent must bring in the medication and a completed authorization form on the first day of school. The form can be found on the Lakewood City Schools website. Click on “Forms” and select the appropriate form (for prescribed medication, EpiPen, and/or inhaler). For further information, please visit the district website, Click on “Departments” and select “Health Services” or contact our school office.
School Safety Tip Line: The Safer Ohio School Tip Line is a free safety resource available to all Ohio schools. The tip line is an anonymous reporting system that accepts both calls and texts 24 hours a day. Calls or texts to 844-SaferOH (844-723-3764) are answered by analysts within Ohio Homeland Security. We encourage everyone in our community to use this tip line if they hear or see something suspicious or unusual. #SpeakUpSaveLives
